Sandbach Concert Series has the Young Musician of the Year competition at 1pm. The free event takes place at St Mary's Church and goes on throughout the afternoon. There are three age categories competing for the title of SCS Young Musician of the Year. Support the young musicians! Sandbach family-friendly board game meeting takes place at the Church on Ettiley Heath, Elton Road from 1pm. Meanwhile Sandbach United's First Team face Ellesmere Rangers at home with a 3 pm kick-off. If rugby is more your scene, Sandbach RUFC 1st XV are at Bradwall Road with a 2.15pm kick-off against Dudley. In the evening, St Mary's Church in Sandbach has a quiz night at St Mary's Church Hall starting at 7pm. Bring your own nibbles and drink. Tickets cost £5 Sunday, February 6th Kick off February in style and start running! Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road. They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
