What's on in Sandbach is brought to you to give you a taste of what's happening locally at the weekend.

We've gone through and picked out a few events but if we've missed anything, please let us know.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, April 25th

Sandbach Art Club is holding it annual three day exhibition and sale to coincide with Sandbach Transport Festival this weekend.

The exhibition opens at 11 am at The Masonic Hall, Scotch Common and runs on Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss it!

At Sandbach Market Hall it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

Saturday, April 26th

Sandbach Transport Festival opens - the annual two-day event highlighting the town's links with the transport industry - Foden and ERF. A flavour of the annual event is here

A busy day with Foden/ERF tribute and enterainment, 'On The Edge' motorcycle stunt team, Fusion Extreme BMX show, live music on the Cobbles from 1 pm until 9.30 pm, military transport and vehicle display on the Small Common car park and a children's fairground in Sandbach Park to name a few. Don't miss it!

If you fancy breakfast before heading to the transport festival, Ettiley Heath Church 4 All in Elton Road has its monthly breakfast club running from 10 am until noon. All welcome and a hearty breakfast is promised.

Sunday, April 27th

It's day two of Sandbach Transport Festival which sees the main parade through town in the morning plus the main vehicle display on Scotch Common car park until 4 pm.

There's also free vintage bus rides, music on the main stage on the Cobbles from 1 pm until 4 pm with Sandbach's world famous Foden's Band playing at 3.30 pm.
