It's a fun weekend ahead with some different events taking place including a creative get together, pottery making, live rugby and live music.    

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, October 14th

The Black Cat Coffee House in Welles Street has live music with Jigsaw Jane from 7 pm until 9.30 pm.

Saturday, October 15th  

The Potters Barn in Roughwood Lane, Hassall Green has a short craft pottery session from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm.

At Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road the 2nd XV welcome Fylde 2nd XV and the 3rd XV welcome Holmes Chapel's 1st XV.

There's chocolate bingo at St Mary's Church Hall at 7pm, raising money for church funds. Tickets are £5 and are available in advance or on the door.

The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock has Diamonds in the Rough playing live – an acoustic three piece band covering songs from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Adele and Shania Twain.

The Lion in Sandbach has Hilda's Flying Ducks, a mix of indie, britpop and 80's classics from 9.30 pm. .

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

The Black Cat Coffee House in Welles Street has a 'spark session' – networking for creative people from 1 pm until 3 pm.
