It's the end of the year and almost New Year's Eve. We take a quick look at some of the local events.

Thursday, December 29th    

Byley Village Hall in Moss Lane, Byley near Sandbach has a panto running in aid of the toy appeal - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,

Friday, December 30th

The Military Arms in Congleton Road has Jon Stevens live from 8pm.

Saturday, December 31st  

The Fox in Elworth has karaoke and drinks. New Year's Eve food service is from 12-7.

Fancy dress is optional and there's a free buffet at midnight. Donations to cancer research are optional.

The Lower Chequer has a New Year's Eve party but you need to put your name on the door event. If you would like to go along, please contact the pub or pop in to add your name to the list.

Meanwhile the Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock has a New Year's Eve party. Tickets are £5 each. Glass of prosecco on arrival.

Half the money will go to Sandbach Animal Rescue.
