It's a fun weekend ahead with lots happening. Sandbach's Maker's Market, live music and a children's market.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, July 9th   

Sandbach's Cobbles will be alive with stalls for the traditional Sandbach Makers Market.

From creamy cheesecakes and loaded brownies, to samosas, savoury pies and Lebanese street food - there's plenty to come.

There's over 50 artisans and makers ready to head your way to bring you some much needed summer vibes from cake and treats to beautiful art and jewellery. The event takes place from 9am until 3pm.

Meanwhile The Lion in High Street, Sandbach has Chris Lupton aka Breezico, solo guitarist.

He will be bringing you his own take on hits by T Rex, Prince, Depeche Mode, Led Zep, Billy Idol, Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Motorhead, and many more.

The event starts at 9.00pm – bring your dancing shoes!

 Sunday, July 10th    

If running is more your thing,  Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

At Sandbach School, there's The Little Children's Market from 10.30 am. It's a chance to pick up some bargains and find toys and clothes for children.
