Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, May 2nd

Interested in things which changed our lives? Sandbach Library has an event, "Serependipitous Science" at 11am to discover some of the accidental discoveries that have changed our lives. The talk is free and donations are welcome.

At Sandbach Market Hall it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

Saturday, May 3rd

It's Warmingham Wakes, the village's annual fundraising event in aid of St Leonard's Church, Warmingham There will be the annual duck race, afternoon tea, Maypole dancing and children's activities and a host of other activties from 1.30 pm until 4 pm.

Earlier in the day, Rode HallFarmers Market at Scholar Green is on from 9 am until 1.30 pm - bursting with Spring produce and artisan crafts. Newcomers, Nantwich Gin and Quality Spirits, will be there along with ceramicist Rebecca Weilding and the Small Horse and The Plan band playing live.

The Bluebell Walk will also be open until 4pm.
