What's On in Sandbach this weekend: Farmer's market, cricket and a disco

It's the first weekend of June and there's lots happening– a farmer's market, cricket and a disco.   

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know.

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday June 2nd 

 There's cricket at Elworth Cricket Club from 5 pm (see below).

Market Tavern on The Square has a disco with a DJ in bar B from 10pm.  

Saturday, June 3rd    

 

It's Rode Hall's monthly farmer's market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm. Stalls galore and a warm welcome. Lots to see and do.

There's cricket at Elworth Cricket Club from noon.

It's the 2023 FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United at 3 pm and lots of pubs and sports clubs will be showing the match which kicks-off at 3 pm including The Lion in Sandbach. 

The Manchester City v Manchester United FA Cup final will be live on nine of The Lion's 11 screens and before that The Epsom Derby at 1.30 pm. After the FA cup final there will be live entertainment from Breezico.

Market Tavern on The Square has a disco with a DJ in bar B from 10pm.  

Sunday, June 4th  

Elworth Cricket Club has cricket starting from 9.30 am (see poster above).

The Cosey Club in Haslington near Sandbach has a 'Sunday Soul' session with guest DJ, Colin Jona Jones from 3 pm until 9 pm. Tickets are £5 on the door.
