What's On in Sandbach this Weekend: Fireworks, rugby and a choral performance

It's a sparkling weekend ahead with bonfire events, choral and brass band concerts and a children's market.     

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, November 4th 

Sandbach Rugby Club stages its bonfire night from 6 pm until 10 pm. Entry to tomorrow's games is free with a ticket from the bonfire night.

Saturday, November 5th 

Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road has three games and entry is free with a bonfire night ticket.

The 1st XV welcome Stockport to Bradwall Road, kick-off is 2:15pm. The 2nd XV also welcome Stockport with a slightly earlier kick-off time of 1:30pm. The 3rd XV are also at home and will be taking on Knutsford's 1st XV with a slightly earlier kick off time of 1:30pm.

At Haslington Cricket Club in Clay Lane, there's the annual bonfire with gates opening at 5.30 pm.

Sunday, November 6th  

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

At Sandbach School in Crewe Road there's The Little Children's Market from 10.30 am with lots of bargains to be had.

Lions Youth Band has an end of term concert at Sandbach School at 3 pm with performances from the Debut, Academy and Youth Bands, as well as Cheshire Constabulary Band.

In the evening, Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road has its fundraising fireworks and bonfire night.

Gates open at 5.30 pm and the cost is £8 for adults and £5 for children. Under five-year-olds are free. The cost for a family of four is £22. Don't miss it!

Meanwhile Sandbach Choral Society performs Haydn's Creation at St. Mary's Church in Sandbach at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10
