Friday, September 16th   

Sandbach Children's Centre in Crewe Road has a 'Toddlers Together' session aimed at children from one year old to three years old.

It will offer a range of activities for your child to learn through play. The sessions are relaxed and have a range of arts, messy play, stories and rhymes to access throughout the session.

The event takes place from 10:00 am until 11:30 am

Saturday, September 17th   

There's an interesting activity at Sandbach Art Room in Bradwall Road. As a tribute to the Queen, teenagers will be designing and making their own crown.

The event runs from 10.30AM until 12.30pm and is open to 11 – 17-year-olds. The cost is £10.

Sandbach United aka The Ramblers are away to Cheadle Town today. Let's wish them the best of luck .

Meanwhile the 1st and 2nd teams at Sandbach Rugby FC in Bradwall Road play teams from Lymm Rugby Football Club. Both games kick off at 3pm.

At The Lion pub in Sandbach, Goodmixer will play some indie classics from the likes of Oasis, Blur, Pulp, The Verve Shed Seven, The Smiths and many more from 9.30 pm.

The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock has an 'open mic' night.  

Smallwood Village Hall has an interesting event – a 'rock n roast' featuring an Elvis tribute and DJ. Tickets are £22. Contact 07973 412361 for details. 

Sunday, September 11th

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

Sandbach boutique, Handbags & Gladrags has an outlet sale event taking place in St Mary's Church Hall in the town from 11 am until 4pm. Everything is £10 or under.
