It's the first weekend in September and there's lots happening. Sandbach's first ever Pride event, a Vegan fair and a country and western event.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, September 3rd  

It's Sandbach Pride's first event and it promises to be an action-packed event. A full day of activities has been planned (see list) and there's lots happening, most of it in Sandbach Park. Sandbach Mayor, Councillor Kathryn Flavell officially opens the event at 11 am. Let's hope the sun continues to shine!

Across at Sandbach Town Hall, there's a Vegan Fair with 30 stalls of food, drink, health, beauty and gifts and live entertainment. The event takes place from 11 am until 5pm. 

Sandbach United aka The Ramblers take on Cheadle Heath Nomads at home in Hind Heath Road with kick-off 3 pm.   

At The Lower Chequer in Sandbach, there's live music with JMD and from 8.30 pm while at The Rookery Tavern in Ettiley Heath there's a country and western event with entrance from 12 pm and music from 4 pm (see below). 

Sunday, September 4th

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
