Saturday, September 10th   

Hot on the heels of Sandbach Pride, the town will be alive again with Sandbach Town Festival, the Makers Market and the Olive and Stitch market.

Sandbach Town Festival will feature Shetland ponies, falconry, Punch and Judy, willow weaving and a circus to name a few.

The action-packed day takes place in Sandbach Market Hall and the Small Common, starting at 11 am and finishing at 4 pm. There are lots of free activities for people of all ages to take part in.

Upstairs at Sandbach Town Hall, the Olive and Stitch Market features over 25 stalls with stalls selling everything from plants, handmade soap and shampoo bars, fair trade, cosmetics, cards, bags and upcycling.

On The Cobbles, Sandbach Makers Market is on with a variety of stalls selling everything from artisan gin and liqueurs to homemade home décor and accessories and delicious cakes and other food.

If you want to get away from it all, Green Angels has an open day at its Hassall Green Nature Reserve from 10 am until 5 pm.

There will be face painting, nature crafts, dry stone walling, willow weaving and outdoor yoga to name a few! At 6.30 pm, there's an evening bat walk.

In Smallwood, it's Smallwood Village Fete, featuring everything from archery, a tug of war, a dog show and vintage vehicles and tractors.

Sandbach United aka The Ramblers are away to Eccleshall while Sandbach Rugby Club 's 2nd XV and the 3rd XV are both at home in Bradwall Road,

The 2s take on Championship side Caldy RFC reserves whilst the 3s entertain Didsbury Toc H

At The Lion pub in Sandbach, Giant Dwarves are live at 9.30 pm. 

Sunday, September 11th

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
