Sandbach Beat Team arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of drugs offences after executing warrants at two addresses in Middlewich.

At 8.19am on Monday (April 28th), police attended an address in Dale Court and in George VI Avenue and made a search of the properties seizing Class A and B drugs, knuckle duster, imitation firearm, ammunition, cash, designer shoes, an ebike, off-road motorbike and an XL Bully dog.

A woman aged 22 and a man aged 23 were arrested. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A (Cocaine) and B (Cannabis) drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, and acquiring ammunition without a certificate. The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine).

Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Craig Hodson from Sandbach Beat Team said: "These warrants are part of our commitment to disrupting the illegal drug supply and making it harder to profit from this type of crime.

"If you have information on illegal drugs or drug dealing in your community please contact us so that we can continue with our efforts to make Middlewich even safer."
