A blitzing performance from Sandbach United saw them go top of the NWCFL South table after a 6-0 demolition of St Martins FC.

Sandbach Ettiley Heath and Wheelock councillor, Laura Crane, has given her support to a £12,000 grant to improve the borough's stiles and gates.
But she has reminded people to use the countryside sensibly and to keep dogs on a lead, especially around livestock and pick up and dispose of dog poo responsibly.

Sandbach Town Council has announced another vacancy for a councillor. Councillor Ian Williams has resigned from the Ettiley Heath and Wheelock Ward for "personal reasons".
This comes just days after the resignation of Councillor Sue Ashcombe-Hurt who is also believed to have resigned for "personal reasons". A spokesman said it was nothing unusual for the time of year.
