Sandbach has forged new links with Cheshire's Police and Crime Commissioner, John Dwyer - thanks a a new initiative.
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire was invited for a tour of the town and parks and to discuss a range of policing and community issues.
Organisers of a rock and pop festival are gearing up for their biggest show yet and have announced there will be two stages with bumper fun for all the family.
Sandbach Rock and Pop Festival features 15 acts and is described by organiser Andy Milner as a "freedom festival" with family orientated acts giving non-stop fun.
Sandbach motorists are being urged to be "kind and considerate" on the road as restrictions lift and more people return back to the office from next week.
A road safety campaign urging road users to 'Share The Road' has been launched in emergency services who are calling on the public to help keep each other safe on the roads.

A Sandbach student has raised money in memory of his late girlfriend who sadly died before she could go to university and train to do her dream job.
Brave 19-year-old Cam Newton from Ettiley Heath has raised a massive £4,500 for the NSPCC after doing a 50 km Ultra Challenge in the Lake District.
