A scathing attack of the NHS Test and Trace system has been launched by Cheshire East Council leader Sam Corcoran.

On his daily Twitter update on Thursday (March 11) morning, the Sandbach councillor criticised the amount of money spent on the system — £22 billion — and how effective it has been at identifying asymptomatic cases.
