The twice postponed fixture between Sandbach and league leaders Rossendale finally went ahead on Saturday.
Following wins in the previous four rounds against teams from Barnton, Winsford, Frodsham and Northwich, Sandbach faced Hurdsfield Panthers in the final.
Brocton started the match the stronger side, forcing goalkeeper Eric Merner into a decent save in the opening three minutes. .
