Morethan two in five Cheshire NHS staff felt ill due to work-related stress as the coronavirus pandemic took hold last year, according to a health service survey.
The annual NHS staff survey has revealed that 43 per cent of staff at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust, which runs Crewe's Leighton Hospital, said they had felt unwell in the past 12 months as a result of work-related stress.
Sandbach residents aged 50 and over can now come forward for their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
This means that vaccination teams are now working through cohort 9 of the priority groups, the last one needing to be completed before the April 15 deadline.
Stalking offences are set to hit a record high this year in Cheshire, figures suggest.
Home Office data shows the number of stalking offences recorded in the six months between April and September 2020 by Cheshire Constabulary is already 85 per cent higher than the amount reported during the whole previous year.
