We are delighted to announce a brand new event that doesn't involve jumping out of planes, getting covered in mud/paint or walking, climbing or running up anything!!

We are launching the Cheshire Open Jigsaw Championship for all you dissectologists out there! (jigsaw enthusiasts – I had to look it up too!)

It's going to be a really fun day for all the family – with an element of competition (Click here for the inevitable rules and here for the Jigsaw T & C's!)

There will be two categories – individual and teams of two. No age limit (although if someone is under 18 we will need an adult to remain with them) Dependent on numbers there may well be heats in each category and then a final later on in the day – we will keep you updated with the format to be used when we have a better idea regarding numbers.

Each individual/couple will be given an identical 500 piece jigsaw and then have 2 hours to complete (or do as much as possible!)

We'd also love to run a "bring and buy" stall of jigsaws too – so bring along & donate any jigsaws you've completed and pick yourselves up a bargain!
