Monday 8 June
Haslington Memory Café
Our Memory Café began on Monday 11th May with 18 people attending.
We were delighted that the Deputy Mayor of Crewe, Stuart Mackay, came along to officially open the event and offer his support. We also named our Mascot, Spot the Dog.
We hope that those struggling with dementia and their carers, who come along in the coming months, find friendship, fun and support in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Free light refreshments are included by kind support of Griffiths and Booth funeral directors.
For those who missed our opening session, don't worry, we have room for more and the next event will be on Monday 8th June from 1 – 3 pm continuing on the second Monday of each month at Haslington Methodist Church, Bradeley Road.
The Memory Café is free, but you can make a donation towards the running costs if you wish.
Many thanks to all who have offered to help with this new venture.
