A fundraising colour run for the junior section of Sandbach Rugby Club was such a success it's going to be repeated next year.

Around 200 people took part in the event running around the outskirts of the ground in Bradwall Road.

And now organisers, Jenny Pickles, manager of the Under 12s and her husband Lee, head coach, are set to repeat it in May.

"It was a huge success. We had over 200 entries," said Jenny.

"It went really well and we'd like to thank everyone who took part. It was such fun."

Andy Mitchell, mini junior chair said: "We were trialling the event and it went very well."
