A Sandbach-based community coaching business is holding an event for youngsters at Elworth Church of England Primary School to help parent and carers during the cost-of-living crisis.

B2 Coaching run by Ben Guildford is holding another community afternoon on Friday (September lst) to help around 100 children from the Sandbach area.

Sandbach Nub News told here how Ben, who lives in Sandbach and is a former pupil of Sandbach School, has been nominated for the Community Champion of the Year in this year's Everybody 2023 awards.

"We understand that times have been tough for many families due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. This summer, in particular, has presented its own set of challenges," said Ben.

"In response to this, we have been working diligently to create events that offer a respite and support system for families.

"Over the past three weeks, we have successfully organised three Community Afternoons, designed to get children out of the house and engaged in activities that promote social interaction and outdoor enjoyment.

"As part of our efforts, we have partnered with Symphony Hospitality to provide 30 free meals after each of these community events.

"It's been heartening to witness the positive impact these initiatives have had on our community, and we are committed to doing even more in the near future.

"We believe that our upcoming Community Day on September 1st could truly make a difference, this will include 100 children from the Sandbach area."
