Cheshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses and video footage after a 20-year-old motorcyclist has died - just four days after colliding with a car in Crewe.

At 8.38am on Thursday (September 1), a report was received of a collision involving a silver Ford Fiesta car and a blue Lexmoto Crescent motorbike - on the A534 Nantwich Road at its junction with Mill Street.

The rider of the motorbike, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital for a broken leg and was later discharged.

Sadly, the man subsequently passed away after falling ill at home on Monday (September 5).

An investigation to establish the cause of his death is currently underway and as part of their enquiries officers are appealing for information in relation to the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police via the website or quoting IML 1356571 or call 101.

Information can also be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously via the Crimestoppers website or call: (0800 555 111).
