Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves attempted to break into a vehicle in Sandbach.

They received reports of unknown suspects outside an address in Cookesmere Lane, Sandbach.

Police say the suspects fled the scene following the incident on 10 October at 9.40 pm.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing and anyone with any information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or through the website, quoting IML-2192566."
