Appeal for witnesses after thieves broke into Sandbach cafe and stole cash

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into the Black Cat Cafe in Sandbach and stole a cash box.
Cheshire Police say they were called to reports of a burglary at 2 am on Monday (13 July) at the cafe in Welles Street.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "Officers attended and found unknown offenders had broken into the premises and stolen a quantity of cash before fleeing the area on foot.
"Enquiries are ongoing an no arrests have been made at this time. Anyone wit any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 2371984. Information can also be reported online at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us."
