Appeal for witnesses after woman. 29, dies in collision near Sandbach

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Arclid.
At around 9am today, Saturday 7 February, police were called to a collision on the A534 Spark Lane, near to the junction of Moorhouse Lane.
Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a blue Fiat 500 and a white Land Rover Defender.
Sadly, the driver of the Fiat, a 29-year-old woman from Congleton, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the Land Rover, a 77-year-old man from Congleton, has been arrested on suspicion of causing a death by dangerous driving.
Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe, of the Serious collision Investigation Unit, said: "We are currently conducting an investigation into the full circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and as part of our enquiries, we would like to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
"The same goes for anyone with any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened.
