Appeal for witnesses and footage following hit and run in Middlewich

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage to get in touch following a hit and run accident in Middlewich.
On Monday 9 June, police received reports of a collision which occurred at around 10.30am on Holmes Chapel Road, near to Pembroke Place, Middlewich.
The collision involved a vehicle and a pedal cycle. The 71-year-old cyclist suffered serious injuries and the driver of the unknown vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Sergeant Jon Dixon said: "Officers are looking to trace any witnesses to this incident as part of our enquiries.
"We are also urging anyone with any dashcam footage of the incident to contact us to help trace the vehicle involved.
