Ansa Environmental Services has been given the go-ahead to put four advertising signs at entrance points to a busy Sandbach roundabout.

Planners from Cheshire East Council have agreed to the application here   saying there is "no material harm on appearance, visual amenity of the surrounding area and public safety".

The site is the roundabout island off Crewe Road the  junction with Middlewich Road, the A533 and Hightown.

The signs will include a company name, logo, contact details and will include the Cheshire East Council logo with up-to-date branding.

The planning officer's report stated: "The proposed adverts have no material harm on appearance, visual amenity of the surrounding area and public safety.

"The proposal is in general accordance with the relevant policies of the Development Plan and the Control of Advertisement Regulations."
