A mum-of-three who was told she was too big to go on a waterslide while on holiday has lost more than eight stone.

Sian Doulton, was celebrating her 30th birthday in Tenerife with her husband Graham Doulton, 41 and said she was a "hot sweaty mess".

Tipping the scales at 19st 2.8lbs, Sian tried to go on a waterslide but was told she was too big and was left mortified.

When she got back to the UK, Sian decided enough was enough and signed up for the 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan - which involves smoothies and shakes.

After ditching oven-ready meals, takeaways and snacks, Sian lost 8st 1lbs and said she feels like a new woman.

She now weighs 11st 1lbs and can fit into a size 10 with ease.

Sian, a maternity support worker, from Sandbach, said: "We went all-inclusive while we were away. I remember going down to the restaurant and having three to four plates of food.

"Walking about the resort my legs would be chafing, I was a hot and sweaty mess.

"One morning, I went to go on a waterslide and the lifeguard told me I was too big.

"I was mortified, I couldn't believe it - it was so embarrassing.

"I would walk around the beach and I couldn't walk very far and I knew that something had to change."

Sian went from a size 22 to a size 10 in eight months by cutting down on sugar, carbs and fat - documenting her journey on social media @slim.with.sian

She said: "I thought it was going to be much much harder, I have tried to lose weight before but it has never clicked.

"With the structure of the diet, it was so easy and freeing.

"For the first 12 weeks, I lost four stone, I didn't do any exercise, it was just the meal replacements.

"After the first 23 weeks, I started increasing my steps."

Since losing weight, Sian has had to buy a whole entire wardrobe and says she feels like a brand-new woman.

She said: "I don't know how to explain it. I don't feel like me, it is almost like I have imposter syndrome.

"It is really weird with how people are seeing me - it is just so different. I went to a conference with work and they were giving out free t-shirts.

"A woman looked at me and was like 'here is a medium it will fit you fine'. I was like 'no no I need an XL' but the medium did fit perfectly."
