Artisan bakery housed in village hall celebrates first birthday in style
An artisan village bakery in Sandbach is celebrating its first birthday in style.
Bradwall Bakehouse in Bradwall opened its doors a year ago today (Friday) and since then, the business has grown from strength to strength.
Housed in Bradwall Village Hall, the bakery business is run by local couple Woody and Fiona Barlow.
Originally launched with Fiona, Woody and master baker Richard Fender, the business has grown with two more members of staff being added to the team.
Commercial baker, Liam Kirkham and Dan Allen, who studied bakery and patisserie at Reaseheath College, are now part of the team.
Bradwall Bakehouse supplies local customers and has a click-and-collect service as well as 20 wholesale customers.
Customers come from far and wide for the handcrafted bread which ranges from sourdough to focaccia and brioche.
Bradwall Bakehouse supplies a range of local businesses and delis, including The Hollies Farm shop, Cheerbrooks and The Lambing Shed.
"We're grateful for our loyal band of customers and businesses who we supply," said Fiona.
"We've grown quite quickly and we're looking forward to the next year. It's a great business and we love what we're doing."
