An award-winning homecare provider is launching a new group in Sandbach to provide support for those who have suffered a bereavement.

Losing someone close to you is never easy but Right at Home South Cheshire is hoping to  provide a helping hand to make it easier.

They are launching the Sandbach Bereavement Support Group to help provide support and find a way forward.

Right at Home South Cheshire was recently recognised as one of the top 20 homecare providers in the Northwest by the national leading independent review website, homecare.co.uk. as we revealed in this story here

The award was based on the homecare provider's reviews from the people they care for, their friends and relatives. Right at Home South Cheshire currently has an impressive recommendation score on homecare.co.uk of 9.8 out of 10, with 69 reviews as of July 2023.

Ben Selby set up Right at Home South Cheshire as we revealed here after a long career in the care sector and looking after his own grandfather who developed  Alzheimer's and vascular dementia.

Carole Salmon, Right at Home South Cheshire's community engagement manager, who is setting up the group, said: "It will be a safe space to express your emotions without judgement.

"We hope to find strength through sharing and discovering personal insights along the way in a supportive environment."

Sessions are free and include refreshments and will provide practical advice and support from qualified counsellors.

The first session takes place on Friday, 29th September between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm at Sandbach Literacy Institute in Bradwall Road.

A safe space to express your emotions without judgement. Find strength through sharing and discover personal insights along the way in a supportive environment.
