"I'm so excited to hit the road with my band and I've been overwhelmed by the support from my fans," said Rob.
"I think truthfully with the exception of maybe Taylor Swift, there isn't an artist in the world who doesn't get a little bit nervous about announcing a tour but for my hometown show to sell out in a couple of days was incredible.
"I hope folks who didn't get tickets will travel to come see me in Liverpool or maybe London."
Before the tour happens, the busy musician is releasing a new single this Friday (March 15th) - a stripped back version of the hit 'Waterfalls'.
It was recorded exclusively for the compilation album,' Cafe Covers Volume 3' which is released worldwide on CD and digital streaming sites the same day.
