Thursday, March 14th

Right at Home South Cheshire has its 'Thrive Together - Recruitment Event' supporting International Women's Day' at Sandbach Literary Institute in Bradwall Road from 12 noon until 2 pm. Details on the poster below.

The Cheshire Cheese pub in Wheelock has its weekly quiz night from 8.30 pm. Pie, chips, gravy and a pint for £10.99 followed by the quiz at 8.30pm. Free entry with a £30 bar tab up for grabs, as well as many more prizes.

Friday, March 15th

Do you like Italian food? SiSi Italian, which launched recently, see our story here, has its weekly slot at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 5 pm until 8 pm.

Saturday, March 16th

Got something you want fixing? It's Repair Café Sandbach from 11am until 2pm at St Peter's Church Hall, Elworth.

Continuing on from our 2023 success, the Repair Café will run 3rd Saturday of the month at St Peters' Church Hall, Elworth which has ample parking and good disabled access.

Repair Cafés are all about repairing things. You take your broken items from home and our fixers, who are unpaid local volunteers, will try and repair your item. Details are in this story here

Sandbach United are away to the Stockport Georgians with a 3 pm kick-off. There next home match is next weekend against Winsford United.

There's live rugby at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road where both the 1st XV and the 2nd XV take on teams from Wirral RFC. Go and support your local teams!

In the evening, The Lion has 'Hilda's Flying Ducks' from 9.30 pm.

Sunday, March 17th

It's St Patrick's Day so there will be lots of events happening to celebrate.
