Bear lovers are set to be bowled over with one of the bears in this year's Brereton Bear Festival near Sandbach.

Every two years, the bear-inspired event is held around the village of Brereton near Sandbach.

It honours the Legend of the Muzzled Bear of Brereton. Bears are placed in gardens, on roofs, in trees, hedges anywhere that is visible from the road.

Each bear has a number along with its name and they are collected and entered on the grid which is in the middle of the programme.

And one bear, number 38, placed outside a house on Newcastle Road North, pays homage to cricket which is particularly timely with The Ashes currently underway.

Which is YOUR favourite bear in the festival and why?
