Beatrix Potter met Roald Dahl at special art and craft event at Elworth Methodist Church

Elworth Methodist Church in Sandbach staged a five-day arts and craft event. (Nub News)

A Sandbach church brought two favourite children's authors to life at a five-day display of arts and crafts.

The church hall and outside at Elworth Methodist Church was packed full with displays based on the work of Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl.

Various displays based around novels such as 'James and the Giant Peach' and 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' came to life in the church hall.

And Raul (4) and Joaquim (2) Pachalis from Wheelock were just two of the children to enjoy a visit to the book spectacular.

The event started on Friday (October 25th) and finished today (Tuesday). Well done Elworth Methodist Church!
