Crewe's Bentley headquarters is recruiting for 200 new members of staff - as part of plans to become an 'exclusively electric car business.'

All 200 job vacancies will be based at the South Cheshire HQ - available across engineering, software, electrical systems, management and more.

The luxury car manufacturer plans to roll out its first electric car within the next three years - with aims to produce 'exclusively' electric models by 2030.

Bentley's member of the board for research and development, Matthias Rabe, was delighted with the company's electric car plans.

He said: "Bentley is in the middle of the most significant transformative phase in the company's long and illustrious history. 

Bentley Motors has recently introduce hybrid working - a blend of onsite and remote working (Bentley Motors).

"Extraordinary products have always been at the heart of our business, however tomorrow's engineers face the most exciting challenges in a generation as we become an exclusively electric car business.

"We are looking for true innovators, who can create the new future of automotive, support our product ambitions and shape our Beyond100 vision."

Bentley Motors currently employs approximately 4,000 people at its Crewe factory.

The luxury firm has recently introduce hybrid working - a blend of onsite and remote working.

The 200 job vacancies will be based at Crewe - available across engineering, software, electrical systems and management (Bentley Motors).

Bentley has also added 'collaboration zones' to promote interaction and moved to hot desks.

This follows a multi-million pound investment with brand new Crewe engineering offices.
