Legendary new wave musician and trend-setter, Grace Jones, is to headline a major music festival near Sandbach later this year.
Bluedot Festival, at Jodrell Bank, will see their sixth festival take place from July 20 to July 23 2023.
The other big headliners at the music and science festival are Irish electropopper Róisín Murphy and Jamaican new wave queen Grace Jones.
Jones (74) will be one of Bluedot's oldest-ever headliners when she takes the stage this summer, aged 75.
Grace Jones has five UK top 40 singles, more than any other Bluedot 2023 artist.
Elsewhere performing amid the backdrop of the Lovell Telescope are American indie heroes Pavement, who will be hoping to harness more than just hopes at the Macclesfield celebration of culture and the cosmos.
The most obscure headliner are London electronic pair Leftfield, who have had three UK top 10 albums including 1999's Rhythm and Stealth.
Other notable acts include former BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, and art rock outfit Django Django.
As well as celebrating all things cool, Bluedot is also known for being on the cutting edge of modern music.
One notable new act is post-punk foursome Dry Cleaning, who have been compared to legendary Macclesfield-Salford band Joy Division.
Wilmslow-based BBC Radio 6 music presenter Chris Hawkins will be hosting a podcast. 2021 Mercury Prize nominee Black Country, New Road also make the line-up.
On the science side, there will be a party to mark the 60th anniversary of the BBC show Doctor Who, and you'll be able to explore the new £21m Jodrell Bank tourist attraction.
Bowie fans will enjoy the Q&A with Brett Morgen, the director of recent movie Moonage Daydream.
There's also plenty of stuff for the kids to do.
