An annual gardening showcase which raises money for good causes in the town has been hailed a 'fantastic' success.

Sandbach Garden Trail 2023 closed its doors yesterday (Sunday,) after another weekend of garden openings.

The first weekend in June saw gardens in Dingle Bank, Well Bank and Dingle Lane opening, while the second part at the end of July saw gardens in Belmont Avenue and Bradwall Road open.

Sandbach Nub News told here how one couple, Kath and Dave Millington, had spent the last 53 years perfecting their beautiful garden, complete with a stream, in Belmont Avenue.

The final part of the event on Saturday and Sunday saw gardens in Hassall Road, Hungerford Place and Sandbach Allotment Society open.

Sandbach Nub News is sharing photos in this article taken at the garden open at the weekend in Hassall Road.

This year, money raised will be divided between Sandbach Concert Series and Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group.

Organisers of Sandbach Garden Trail have thanked everyone who attend this year's event.

"Thanks to everyone who has participated in and supported the Sandbach Garden Trail this season.

"It's been a fantastic success. Once the funds have been settled, we can present the two organisations with a nice cash sum."

Well done to all the participants this year – they were all amazing!
