Darts players in Sandbach were back at the darts board yesterday (Sunday) to raise money for Diabetes UK.

In March they did a darts marathon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support but on Sunday (June 30th) they were raising money for a different case.

The charity darts knockout took place at The Military Arms in Congleton Road with a 2 pm registration and a 3 pm start.

James Pace who helped to organise it said: "I have a charity raffle, with some really good prizes including a signed dart shirt by twice world champion Adrian Lewis, a signed football by the Crewe Alex team, two sets of darts signed by Joe Cullen and Simon Whitlock, bar vouchers for The Military and pool and darts hours at the arena bar in Crewe.

"It's £5 per player, half the entry fees will be paid back to the winner and runner up and the other half will go to charity. "
