Cheers! Sandbach's popular Beer Emporium wins another award

A Sandbach craft beer bar has notched up another award - after winning second place in the South Cheshire CAMRA's Club of the Year for 2024. 

The Beer Emporium in Welles Street is runner-up in CAMRA's South Cheshire Pub of the Year. 

Chairman of South Cheshire CAMRA, Derek Davey, presented the award to the popular drinking venue.

The Beer Emporium also made it into the Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide for 2024 – an accolade it has made numerous times.  

Manager, Della Hyde, said: "We are incredibly proud of the team we have here at the Emp. 

"After a tough year, they have pulled together and shone. I couldn't ask for a better team and it's down to their passion for great beer that we have been placed second." 

Sandbach's Elworth Cricket Club, whose clubhouse recently underwent a major refurbishment, was y crowned South Cheshire CAMRA's Club of the Year for 2024 as we revealed here
