Rainbow Cheesecakes will no longer have its permanent stand in Sandbach Indoor Market but it will be returning once a month to Sandbach indoor market on a Sunday.

Jenni Grist, owner of the business, also says Rainbow Cheesecakes, which has a shop and base in Crewe, is going back to its roots doing local craft fairs and will be also be in Alsager.

She has also announced Rainbow Cheesecakes will going back to Alsager and will be at Alsager Civic for the olive and stitch market on Saturday, June 17th .

The talented cheesecake maker started life on a table inside Sandbach Market Hall.

"It comes with huge sadness to announce that our last day of trading at Sandbach Market will be Saturday, 10th June," she said on social media.

"There are numerous reasons for this, including decreased footfall inside the market hall itself impacting on sales, as well as people struggling to find our new location inside the market, with no option to return back to our previous location long-term.

"As a business, we are incredibly busy and our Crewe shop is not impacted negatively in any way whatsoever by this decision.

"In fact, it's absolutely flying, and I cannot thank our customers enough for making Crewe such a success!

"As a Mum of two young boys, my time is precious, and as Rainbow Cheesecakes is my career and sole "job", I unfortunately have to put a business head on and utilise my limited time in the best way possible.

"Sadly, it was becoming apparent that we were investing a lot of time and energy into Sandbach, as we do with Crewe, but Sandbach was starting to give little to no return for these efforts, which is soul-destroying.

"However, this move is allowing us to step into new avenues and adventures. Firstly, we will be expanding our product range at Crewe over the coming weeks, to include much more than just cheesecakes.

"Secondly, we are going back to our roots and attending local craft fairs etc, as well as having the Crewe shop open."

"We will also still be at Sandbach Market one Sunday a month. This will be advertised on our Facebook page.

"Delivery will remain totally free to Sandbach residents, too - we are only a message away!

"We hope that you will come and support us in our final days at Sandbach and thank you so much for your custom there since October 2021 - it's made us who we are today."
