An art facility in Sandbach which helps boost mental wellbeing and provide support for the community will be homeless in days as it has been unable to find new premises.
Former NHS worker, Tracey Mee, set up Sandbach Art Room 2012 after seeing what benefits art brings to those trying to improve their wellbeing.
Sandbach Art Room was first based in premises in High Street but later moved to the former Royal Bank of Scotland building in Bradwall Road in 2019.
Sadly their rental lease on the building is not being renewed and although they have been given six months' notice they have been unable to find alternative premises. From Friday (31 October) the project will be 'homeless'.

Sandbach Art Room prides itself on "delivering health and wellbeing sessions for adults, young people and children, promoting self care, peer support and inclusion for all."
The project has gone from strength to strength running a series of paid classes for the local community as well as acting as a warm hub and being part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
Sandbach Art Room is hoping someone will come forward with suitable premises in the town which they can rent and use as a base.
"We want to stay in Sandbach but as soon as premises come up they're gone," said Tracey. "We've always paid our rent on time and we've been very happy here but sadly our lease isn't being renewed.

"We've had six months notice and have tried our best to find new premises . All our stock and project work is going into storage until we find somewhere new.
"It's such a shame as over 100 people a week use us. I set it up because when I worked in the NHS I saw what outstanding results this type of work produces.
"We don't want to move to a different town. This is where people know us and where so many of our customers come from."
