A Sandbach-based interior design enthusiast has launched a social media platform so others can follow in her footsteps and create their own dream home.

Camilla Britten (32) has documented how she has turned her new three bedroom three storey home on the town's Old Mill Road development into the perfect home on her Instagram account @cheshire_home_inspiration.

The bridal shop owner has carefully detailed how she injected her own style and creativity into her new home on the account which includes mood boards, sections on the garden, cleaning and even cooking.

The account details how she has decorated every part of the house, including the large top floor bedroom for which she chose pale pinks and soft greys, to the garden with its porcelain patio flags and raised beds with planters.

Camilla "shares her passion for all things home and interiors in her Cheshire new build" on the Instagram account which now has nearly 500 followers.

She said: "I chose this particular home as I fell in love with the top floor bedroom. Interior design is a great passion of mine, I work in a creative industry and my mum was an interior designer and my dad has always been in property so it's in my DNA."

Camilla details how she has used a range of furniture and accessories from a number of stores to achieve the stylish look in her Barratt home on the J One Seven development in Sandbach.

She added: "My top piece of advice is to pick one piece of furniture that you love for a room and build the theme around it. This puts a focus on your styling pieces that tie the room together."

Camilla moved into her new home in December, completing her purchase using Barratt Homes' part exchange scheme to make the process as efficient and seamless as possible.

She said she chose the J One Seven development as it ticked all the boxes with good commuting links yet near everyday essentials with an element of nature from nearby woods.

Camilla said: "The local area is great. It has everything from shops to restaurants in the area, it's local to my business which is based in Knutsford and also has easy access to the motorway."
