A Sandbach mum treated her children to a breakfast with a difference – Elf on the Shelf's North Pole Breakfast.

Luisa Monardi 's children Bobby and Buddy woke up this week to their lounge in Elworth full of special treats from the home of Santa.

And it's all thanks to Sandbach Party Supplies whose Elf breakfasts are literally flying out the door.

Owners Judy Henson and Stacey Rowley set up the clever breakfasts in people's homes in the evening before.

Judy said: "We sneak in after the children have gone to bed and set up so when they wake up so it's all ready for them.

"It's a lovely surprise. We've done so many this month and they are really popular.

"We set up the table and leave a hamper with breakfast in such as juice, cereal, crackers etc."

Mum-of-two Luisa says her children were delighted.

"They absolutely loved it and were so amazed. I said the cheeky Elf did it as they have been such good boys!"

And Sandbach Party Supplies, based in Welles Street, are not just bringing festive cheer to homes with their Elf breakfasts.

They have also launched a Sandbach Penguin Trail which began on Saturday and continues until Wednesday (December 22nd).

Using the map, children can explore the shops and cafés in Sandbach searching for the penguin posters.

Each poster has a letter on it. Once children have collected all the letters and unscrambled them they will find a word or phrase.

The winner will be drawn at random and contacted on Thursday (December 23rd).

Judy from Sandbach Party Supplies who dreamt up the idea says it's based on a treasure hunt.

"We're just trying to give children something to do this week and have some fun."
