An interactive map has shown the exact percentage of people that have had their first and second Covid jabs in each area of Sandbach.

A map on the Government website allows users to view up to date percentages of everyone aged 12 and above who has received each vaccine.

The data is broken down into each area of Sandbach allowing us to see which areas of the town are most vaccinated.

The percentage of people aged 12+ vaccinated up to and including 16 December can be found in full below:

Sandbach North

First dose – 91.3 %

Second dose – 86.6%

Sandbach Heath

First dose – 89.2%

Second dose - 84%

Sandbach Ettiley Heath & Wheelock

First dose - 90%

Second dose – 84.3%

Haslington & Weston

First dose – 90.9%

Second dose – 85.6%

As you can see from the stats, the most vaccinated area of Sandbach is Sandbach North over 91% of residents having received at least one dose.

The least vaccinated area is Sandbach Heath - but 84% of residents have still received at least one jab in this area.

However, the town is still performing well both locally and nationally when compared to other areas.

For example, there are areas of Stoke-on-Trent where less than 70% of residents have received at least one jab, and in some parts of London this figure even drops below 50%.

Unfortunately there is not yet any data available on how many local residents have received their booster jabs, but this will likely be revealed in the future and we will be sure to post an update here on Nub News.
