Engineers work to fix a problem after dozens of homes in CW11 postcode of Sandbach hit by power cut
A power cut struck homes in Sandbach today.
Dozens of homes in Sandbach were left without electricity today (Friday) after a power cut.
SP Energy Networks say they had no advance warning and first became aware of it at 2.47 pm but say they hope to have power restored by 5 pm.
A spokesperson said: "There is a power cut affecting the CW11 postcode area of Sandbach.
"Our engineers have arrived on site and will work to restore your electricity supply as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect the power to be restored by 5:00pm.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
