Families being invited to get in touch with nature at reserve's open day

A local nature reserve is throwing open its doors and holding an open day for families.
Hassall Green Nature Reserve in Betchton Lane is holding an open day on Saturday, October 14th from 10 am until 4 pm.
There will be a dry-stone walling taster session, a yoga workshop, drumming circle taster, natural crafts, family story-telling, willow weaving and a cacao ceremony to name a few.
A spokesperson said: "We have a huge range of free activities planned throughout the day and we would love you and your service users to come and enjoy a day of outdoor adventure at the reserve."
