Booker lovers will get a chance to meet the author in person at an event in Sandbach this weekend.

Sandbach mum, Lynne Appleton, who has written a children's book about the family's dog, Dolly, will be at Burnell's gift shop on Saturday (April 1st) with Dolly.

Mum-of-three, Lynne Appleton, is at the Congleton Road shop from 10.30 am until 12 noon with Dolly and the book, "Who is Dolly?".

Dolly the Dachshund actually belongs to Lynne's daughter Anna but has recently come to stay whilst Anna is away in Australia.
