Farm shop near Sandbach adds a new addition to its outdoor area

A farm shop on the edge of Sandbach has expanded its outdoor offering – to cope with growing demand.
Pear Tree Farm Shop in Newcastle Road, Brereton is a popular stopping off point for cyclists and families.
And now the farm shop, which has an outdoor area complete with a sand pit and children's play area, has a covered area for al fresco coffee and cake or an ice cream.
The farm shop, renowned for its sign saying "Probably the Best Homemade Apple Pie in Cheshire", has opened a covered seating area outside.
Jill Ford, who runs the shop with her family said: "It can be used as a sunshade or rain cover.
"We wanted something which could be used for both. It's a great place for families to sit while the children are playing as well."
Pear Tree Farm Shop is a family run business dating back to 1958 which used to be owned by Jill's grandparents.
A beef farm, it sells locally produced meat, dairy products, homemade cakes and desserts as well as a range of gift ware and plants.
It's open Monday 9.30 am - 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 am – 5 pm and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm.
