Fiona Bruce MP joined the annual Holmes Chapel Civic Service for the Community at the weekend.

She joined the service on Sunday (September 17th) which was organised by Holmes Chapel Parish Council and held at St Luke's Parish Church in Holmes Chapel.

The preacher was Canon Rob McLaren and those attending were welcomed by parish council chair, Councillor Chris Jackson.

He said it was a measure of the healthy community life in Holmes Chapel that invitations to the Civic Service had been extended to over 100 local community groups. Refreshments were served afterwards in the church hall.
