Firefighters called after vehicle collides with wall in front of house in Sandbach

Two fire engines from Crewe attended the scene after a vehicle went into a wall in front of a house in Sandbach. 

Firefighters, police and parademics were called to Platt Avenue yesterday afternoon (Sunday) after a vehicle collided with a wall. 

Police said: "At 4.35pm on Sunday 27 July, police were called to reports of a collision on Platt Avenue, Sandbach.

"Officers attended the scene and found a grey Peugeot 308 had collided with the front of a house. There were no reports of any serious injuries.

"Cheshire Fire attended the address and a structural engineer also attended to check the safety of the building.

"Officers left the scene at around 6.30pm."

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service added: "Paramedics walked a casualty from their vehicle after it collided with the front of a house. 

"Firefighters made the scene safe and remain on site to await the arrival of a structural engineer."
